Summary
We are searching for a Licensed Therapist to join our team in serving individuals and couples. While enjoying your chosen specialties and natural abilities, you will be able to improve the lives of all populations in need. The position offers the possibility of both remote and on-site work, allowing you the flexibility to structure a schedule that works for you and your clients. As a per-appointment position, you will benefit from constructing the size of your own full-time practice without the need to manage systems like contracting, billing, marketing or office space.

Responsibilities

  1. Friendly and supportive care of all populations we serve. 
  2. Clear, complete and competent clinical notes and communication with internal staff, billers, insurance companies and allied health professionals.
  3. Abide by HIPPA privacy laws and licensing regulations.
  4. Time management of your clinical schedule and other assigned meetings/projects.
  5. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Master’s or above in psychotherapy or social services fields.
  2. Willingness to grow professionally and personally.
  3. Verbal and written communication skills are very important to serve patients and work with our team. 
  4. Proficient with computers, internet, Google Docs, Google Drive and Microsoft Office. 
  5. Organized to maintain digital filing systems and a clean office.
  6. Self-starter who can work well independently, while also working cooperatively with team-members.
  7. Active Washington license, malpractice insurance active or in-process.
  8. Willingness to contract with any insurance company and align with our chosen panels.
  9. Vaccinated for Covid

Starting Salary

Summary
This is a part-time position (20 weekly patient-hours). The Acupuncturist will treat in a family practice setting, working on all appropriate medical conditions while focusing on your chosen specialties and natural abilities. Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and nutritional guidance will be the primary modalities used. Movement/meditation, tuina, and energy healing are also possible for those experienced or interested. As a per-patient position, you will benefit from constructing your own practice without the need to manage systems like contracting, billing or office space.

Responsibilities

  1. Friendly and supportive treatment of patients with clear and complete patient notes.
  2. Time management of your treatment schedule and other assigned projects.
  3. Collaboration in patient care with both in-house and external healthcare practitioners.
  4. Assist with phones, appointments, cleaning, orders and payments.
  5. Correspond with billing and insurance companies.
  6. Represent company at events.
  7. Write articles, give talks and research/implement marketing activities.
  8. Cover for absent practitioners or staff.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Education in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Clinical experience in both is preferred, though not required.
  2. Friendly and welcoming attitude as we serve people of all ages and backgrounds who are working through all types of physical and mental health problems.
  3. Verbal and written communication skills are very important to serve patients and work with our team. 
  4. Proficient with computers, internet, Google Docs and Microsoft Office.
  5. Organized to maintain digital filing systems and a clean clinic.
  6. Self-starter who can find and make improvements to current systems independently, while also working cooperatively with team-members.
  7. Washington license, national diploma and malpractice insurance active or in-process.
  8. Willingness to align contracts with chosen insurance companies.
  9. Willingness to work weekdays, weekends, and/or evenings. 
  10. Willingness to treat pain, women’s health, pediatrics, internal medicine, autoimmune conditions and any appropriate medical conditions.
  11. Interest in caring for yourself and serving others to do the same.
  12. Ability to lift 50 pounds
  13. Vaccinated for covid
